
The push – titled ‘Gear up’ - runs for the next 90 days with prizes designed to fit individual sports. To enter the competition consumers are required to purchase the product and enter online a unique code found on-pack.
Once the code is registered on the site the customer will be eligible for the daily draw until the competition ends. Additionally the Gear Up site will also contain training and nutritional advice.
Gatorade brand manager Arif Haq said: ‘The prize bundles are tailored to a wide variety of sports which means whatever the level and whatever the sport we want to ensure people have everything they need to improve their performance and get active in 2009.’
Gatorade is also has associations with the Mazda London Triathlon, UK Ironman, Sony Ericcson Run to the Beat as well as being Official Hydration Partner to the Guinness Premiership.
