The Barbarians, led by Mark Regan, grabbed all the rugby headlines on December 1 when the team overcame the newly crowned Rugby World Cup champions, the Springboks, to win 22-5.
Lawrence Dallaglio, Fourie du Preez, Gareth Thomas, Stephen Larkham, Chris Latham and Sebastien Chabal have all been invited to play for the Barbarian team against England.
In December, Jason Robinson ended his glittering rugby career by playing for the Baabaas, as the Barbarians are commonly known. In previous years, rugby legends such as Gareth Edwards, Jonah Lomu, David Campese, Francois Pienaar, Serge Blanco, Gavin Hastings and Brian O'Driscoll have all played for the Barbarians.
Jeff Meyer, Gartmore's president and chief executive, said: "December's Gartmore Challenge between the Barbarians and South Africa will no doubt go down as one of the most exhilarating matches in Barbarian history.
"Gartmore was proud to be part of that special occasion and is now pleased to continue its association with this unique team when they play England in June.
The showdown between the Barbarians and England on June 1 will be the Barbarian Football Club's 750th fixture since it was founded in 1890.
