Garden dotcom launches hard- copy catalogue

Gardening web site Dig-it.co.uk is supporting its online activities by launching a stand-alone mail order catalogue.

350,000 copies are being sent to registered users and inserted into gardening and lifestyle publications. The catalogue is designed to show prices and information clearly and to be used in conjunction with the web site. Customers can refer to the catalogue to find a product and if they wish to order online they can search for it by typing in a code or description.

But creative director Nicky Roeber stresses that the catalogue's aim is to open up channels of communication: 'It is very important to offer people as many options as possible, whether fax, phone, post or email.'
