LONDON (Brand Republic) - Gap has promoted Amy Schoening to the newly created position of chief marketing officer, reporting to president and chief executive officer Millard Drexler.
Schoening has been working on marketing strategies for Gap over the past few months and her new responsibilities will include creative strategy and overall brand positioning for Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy. She will also be in charge of fostering creative talent in the company and managing agency relationships.
For the last five years, Schoening has been executive vice-president of marketing for the Banana Republic brand where she also reported to Drexler.
