GambleAware "Tap out" by M&C Saatchi

The second campaign in BeGambleAware and The Safer Gambling Board's "Bet Regret" initiative, which promotes safer gambling, coincides with football season.

Created by M&C Saatchi, the work includes two films featuring people who are about to place ill-considered bets, but are interrupted by a wrestler who pins them to the ground until they agree to "tap out" of their betting apps. It was produced during lockdown and stars amateur wrestler Adam Kirby. The charity’s strategy is to encourage adoption of a new, specific and easy to follow behaviour of pausing before placing a bet to get time to think.

The work was created by Danny Jones and Jordan Morris, and directed by Vince Squibb through Academy.
