The six-figure campaign, for Halifax, is the first in a series of partnerships for the two parent companies, Global Radio and Emap, and will launch on Monday (August 13).
Halifax is using the campaign to raise the profile of its student current account and will see coverage across Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Norwich and much of Wales.
The ads will convey students' views on tuition fees, wealth aspirations and other financial concerns.
The radio activity will be supported by a website that launches today (8 August) offering Q&A sessions and web chats for users as well as a series of tips from other students.
Zoe Schmid, head of radio at Vizeum, the agency behind the campaign, said that by working together, Galaxy and Kiss's offer "becomes uniquely powerful".
Steve Parkinson, Kiss managing director, added: "Kiss and Galaxy are natural bedfellows, and our major commercial partners like Halifax are seeing the benefit from easy access to our networks."
