Galaxy heralds Manchester 'Robellution'

MANCHESTER - Global Radio's Galaxy station in Manchester has launched a multichannel campaign centred around its breakfast show with DJ Rob Ellis.

Galaxy heralds Manchester 'Robellution'

The on-air, online and experiential activity, called Robellution, launched today and involves representatives from the station carrying out street stunts in order to emphasise that "mornings are a fun and positive experience", especially when they begin with the Galaxy breakfast show.
Promotional teams roam the streets of Manchester handing out tickets for "fine parking", to compliment people on their parallel parking skills, and will appear with umbrellas to shield commuters from the rain on the way to the office.
The public interaction will continue on-air with local celebrities talking about how Robellution has changed their morning.
Paul Coleman, Galaxy marketing director, said the station wanted to "position the Rob Ellis breakfast show as a positive, uplifting experience".
