The new-look bar features a resizing of the chocolate chunks plus a redesign of the packaging. In addition to the sampling, the £5.7 million relaunch will be supported by a TV and poster campaign launching in mid-September. The campaign is the brand's biggest marketing push since 2003.
The sampling push, created by Carbon Marketing, will target women and will take place in areas such as hairdressing salons as well as door-drops. The campaign will use the strapline "fall in love again".
Galaxy will also launch three new products on the back of the revamp, Smooth Dark, Roasted & Caramelised Hazelnuts, and Raisin, Almond & Hazelnut.
