Dove will join the Bath sales team in the summer as ad director for craft, games and technology.
She will be looking primarily after brands based in the city, as well as training and developing the 100-strong team.
She will be responsible for titles including Official PlayStation 3, Computer Arts and T3.
She will continue to report to ad director Jayne Caple.
Dove, a former director of advertising for Mirror Group Newspapers who has also worked in senior roles at Conde Nast and IPC Southbank, joined Future in November 2005, when the publisher brought its London sales staff together in a single location.
She subsequently led a restructure of the London ad department, which has around 65 staff, in a bid to increase its magazines' profile with advertisers.
Account managers now represent Future's entire portfolio to specific West End media agencies.
Future hopes to have a new London sales director in place before Dove moves.
The role has however previously proved difficult to fill: Dove's predecessors David Fernando and Jacqui Duckworth each spent just a year in the job.
Future has made further changes to its senior advertising team in Bath with three further ad director appointments.
Helen Forsyth is promoted from senior ad manager to look after its cycling portfolio.
Sean Igoe moves up from ad manager for computing titles to replace Adrian Major, who takes up the new role of ad director on the company's music-making brands to prepare for the launch of a dedicated website later this year.
