
Matt Downs, the group creative media director at Time Inc, joins Future as the director of agency sales and will be responsible for all aspects of agency relationships and trading.
At Time, where he has worked for 16 years, Downs has held senior positions and served on the publisher’s advertising board for the past six years. Last year his team won a Gold CMA Award in the public sector campaign of the year category for The Army.
John Burke, the head of tech partnerships at Telegraph Media Group, has also joined Future in the same role, which has been newly created.
Burke has been tasked with creating and growing partnerships between their tech portfolio and tech brands.
At Telegraph Media Group, Burke worked in creative solutions for media owners including Dennis and Haymarket and developed content partnerships for Stuff and What Hi Fi.
Both Downs and Burke will report to Clare Dove, the commercial sales director at Future.
