Future to provide BT Vision's editorial content

BT has hired Future Publishing's customer publishing arm Future Plus to produce daily editorial content for BT Vision, its forthcoming next-generation TV-via-broadband service.

Future Plus has hired an 11-strong team, headed by Jackie Finlay, a former editor of bbc.co.uk's entertainment news pages, to produce news, independent reviews of entertainment and programme listings for BT Vision's film, TV and music services and the BT Vision online store.
The publisher will work with BT to develop further content, including community forums, special-interest areas and reader-generated content along with user ratings and popularity charts.
BT Vision is set to launch later this autumn, offering on-demand film, music and television programming, interactive services and Freeview channels, all available on TV with no compulsory subscription.
Its other content providers include Dreamworks, BBC Worldwide, Paramount and Warner Music Group.
