
The special interest publisher said the launch, on 18 May, marks "a new direction for the automotive portfolio" and will "satisfy growing consumer interest in more efficient, intelligent and technologically advanced cars".
The quarterly magazine will initially run to 132 pages and cost £4.99. Its website, , will launch on 14 March and the magazine will also be available digitally via iPads and other tablet computers.
The title will be produced in Future’s Bath office and edited by Jeremy Laird. Laird said the magazine would be the "voice of a new generation of efficient, technologically-advanced and desirable cars".
Gez Jones, associate publisher for Future’s automotive portfolio, said the magazine had been developed to fill a niche in the market, but "due to the effect of converging market forces over the past two years, and with traditional media remaining resistant to change, this small gap has grown into a gaping hole".

Future claims to reach more than 600,000 car enthusiasts every month via its portfolio of magazines, which include Fast Car, Fast Ford, Redline, Fast Bikes and Total Vauxhall magazines, and also the Adrian Flux Auto Events Series.
Last month , increasing by 25% over the final quarter of last year and helping to offset a 10% fall in print advertising.
