Future Publishing has acquired four consumer technology magazines and three related websites from Dennis Publishing.
The titles are Hi-Fi Choice, Home Entertainment, Classic Rock and the teenage rock title Metal Hammer which has a circulation of just under 40,000. Related websites for Hi Fi Choice, Home Entertainment and Metal Hammer, which had a total of 1.2 million page impressions up to November, have also been acquired by Future.
Jane Ingham, managing director of Future Publishing, said the acquisition would complement existing Future titles such as T3 and What DVD by creating a full portfolio of consumer electronic hardware titles. 鈥淭he combined portfolio will be much stronger as a result and we believe that they have a lot of potential to do even better over the coming years,鈥 she said.
