The Portuguese funeral company Funalcoitao makes the point that funerals don't have to be drab in a new campaign. BAR Lisbon created the spot, which will air on TV in Portugal after breaking online. It shows an outlandish funeral procession with a coffin being drawn by a donkey. A voiceover describes his ideal funeral where people "bang on cans" and "romp around in leaps and bounds", adding that "you can’t refuse anything to a dead man". The spot ends with the company’s strapline: "We don’t just do funerals. We pay tribute." It was written by Diogo Anahory, art directed by Jose Bomtempo and Antonio Bezerra, and directed by Pedro Amorim through Krypton.
