FT signs six-figure deal with GE

LONDON - The Financial Times has signed a six-figure commercial deal with energy and technology company GE, which will be the sole sponsor of a series of specialised magazines focusing on climate change.

Three magazines will be circulated throughout the UK and Europe over the summer and the autumn, and will also be available via an online microsite on FT.com.

The magazines, which are available with the weekday issues of the Financial Times, focus on the science of climate change and related issues.

Simon Targett, associated editor, special reports and supplements editor of the Financial Times, said: "Climate Change - and its wider impact - is contestably the most important issue facing mankind today - and tomorrow, too."
