The site, FTadviser.com, will pool together content from its retail finance titles Financial Adviser, Money Management, Investment Adviser and International Wealth Management.
The site will be free to IFAs, although Money Management's content will be restricted to subscribers. It will also provide real-time industry news and a link to Standard & Poor's Micropal for fund performance statistics.
The full launch is expected to go ahead before the end of the year. Stephen Sheppard, head of content for Ftadviser.com, said: "There are four web sites in one. Technically, it's quite awkward."
FT Business announced back in May that it would group its web sites together to form an in-house sales team. It is looking to offer co-branded deals with third-party sites and portals, although Sheppard said that only the Micropal deal would be in place for the soft launch.
