McCuin spent six years as international project manager of Food & Hotel Asia, HOFEX, FHC China, and Food & Hotel Thailand for Allworld exhibitions.
"The timing is perfect for Chris to come in, bringing new ideas to the strong existing team with plenty of time to implement fresh thinking for the 2011 event," said Fresh RM group event director Toby Wand.
"Chris is very well connected internationally which is a great asset for IFE, given the scale of the recession-fuelled challenge IFE faces at home but especially outside the UK. It was important for us to find somebody who can bring new ideas and complimentary skills to the experienced team we have built for IFE and Chris fits the bill perfectly."
