Freeserve kicks off multi-million pound campaign

Freeserve kicks off a multi-million pound campaign today (Wednesday) to promote its 'broadband in a box' internet product. The ad opens to the background of yodelling, with a man in a gorilla suit waiting impatiently for a ski lift, which eventually breaks down. It asks: "Do you have to wait ages to get connected or download - and are you left hanging around?".The yodelling and the action then speed up. Two men at a grand piano on skis hurtle past followed by the man in the gorilla suit and a businessman in a telephone box, demonstrating that with broadband you can chat on the phone and surf at the same time. The endline is 'Broadband's here, why wait?' Creative is by M&C Saatchi and media by Walker Media.
