
Mussel Men
The taste of the seaside and rum have come together at seafood restaurant Mussel Men, located on Dalston's Kingsland Road in London. It has a summer menu that can be enjoyed in its Dalston garden space and inspired by this natural setting, its Cubano Jardin (£8) blends Havana Rum with the refreshing summer garden flavours of elderflower, mint, and lime. Earlier this year, the restaurant opened the Captains Quarters, a dedicated private area for people, while the whole venue, including the garden, is available to hire.
Rum Kitchen
Bar, club and restaurant concept Rum Kitchen opened its latest branch in Brixton on 1 August. The Caribbean eatery offers a range of cocktails blended with Wray and Nephew rum, as well as desserts infused with rum, including a chocolate rum pot with rum genache and banana cake with rum caramel sauce. The restaurant also has branches in Notting Hill and Carnaby Street.
The American Bar at The Savoy
In celebration of National Rum Day, which took place earlier this week (16 August), the American Bar at The Savoy is offering the The Punk Rock (£16). This punchy cocktail is made from Barcardi Superior Rum, Ancho Reyes, zingy grapefruit juice, sugar syrup, Peychaud bitters and hickory.
Coin Laundry
Located in Exmouth Market in London, Coin Laundry bar is also offering some exciting rum concoctions for Londoners, including a 70s-inspired menu that celebrates retro classics including the Pina Colada (£9), a smooth blend of rum, coconut and pineapple.
