Attendant
Due to host , Attendant can be found in London’s Fitzrovia beneath a traditional iron grill entrance. The structure was built in 1890, and the interior features the orginal porcelein urinals by Doulton & Co, as well as the Victorian floor tiles.
A café throughout the day, the space can be hired for private events in the evening. The head chef previously worked under Chiltern Firehouse’s Nuno Mendez and can provide bespoke catering for events.

WC
WC is no longer a water closet but Wine & Charcuterie – a cosy restaurant perfect for tapas and drinks, which is hidden under Clapham Common Underground station. Original features include mosaic floors and porcelain basins where the drinks are stored.
Private booths for up to eight people can be reserved in advance, while walk-ins can enjoy the upper terrace in the summer (although this, granted, does not deliver the full lavatory experience). Expect a curated list of wine and craft beer to be drunk with cheese, salami and sourdough.

Ladies and Gentleman
North London’s toilet bar offering is Ladies and Gentlemen in Kentish Town. William Borrell, who owns both the bar and Vestal Vodka, renovated the space earlier this year.
Ladies and Gentleman has a capacity of 50 and accepts bookings for parties of four plus. Homemade liqueurs, syrups, botanicals and herbs make a menu of cocktails.

Bermondsey Arts Club
Bermondsey Arts Club is a public convenience-turned cocktail and jazz bar. Art deco details are referenced through the venue’s black and white tiled floor, as well as the marble bar and tabletops, which have been carved from the original toilet cubicle separators.
The space can hold 60 covers and is open until 2am Tuesday to Saturday. For something slightly more casual, Bermondsey Arts Club’s founders are opening a new beer bar concept – The Other Room – on Tower Bridge Road next month.
