Sadler's Wells

Sadler's Wells Theatre unveiled a refurbished event space in May. The Kahn, situated behind the adjoining newly named Fox Garden Court Café, has been upgraded to provide a flexible space that makes the most of the natural light. The space has been designed with maximum flexibility in mind so that the room scheme can be changed to suit corporate, artistic and private events. The space is suited to events, board meetings, workshops and seminars for small to medium sized groups of up to 56 theatre-style, or 25 boardroom-style. The Kahn has a total floor area of 60sqm.

Richmond Hill Hotel

The Grade II-listed venue completed a £4.7m redevelopment last September, refreshing its 15 meeting rooms and reconfiguring more than half of its bedroom stock, over five floors, to create larger rooms and design-led bathrooms. It now offers a total of 142 bedrooms. 'Roaring and Startled Stags', two sculptures designed by George Hider, in keeping with the neighbouring Royal Richmond Park’s fallow and red deer, have been made from reclaimed metal and stand at the entrance to the hotel. The largest meeting and events room seats 180 people theatre-style.

Design Museum

The Design Museum takes up residence in the former Commonwealth Institute building in London. As part of its multi-million pound redevelopment, the new museum will have more than 1,000 square metres of event space available for hire, including an auditorium and meeting rooms, with the venue suited to awards ceremonies, dinners and drinks receptions. The venue is scheduled to open in November.

Christ Church's Great Hall

Christ Church College in Oxford's Great Hall repoened for events in July last year. The iconic building, which was built in 1525 by Cardinal Wolsey, Henry VIII’s Chancellor, was the inspiration for the Hogwarts’ dining room in the Harry Potter films. The college has also completed extensive developments to the Lodge and Undercroft (cellar bar), which can be utilised for events. The Undercroft Bar can accommodate up to 100 people.
