Four agencies pitch for Pathe business

BLM has held the account with the distributor of Oscar-winning movie The Queen for the past three and a half years.

Pathe's managing director John Fletcher is conducting the review, as the company does not currently have a marketing director.

Last week, BLM told Media Week that the client had introduced new supplier procurement guidelines, including a requirement to review suppliers after three years (page 4, 13 March).

Pathe distributes about 20 titles a year, both third-party films and those produced by the company itself. Pathe is linking up with BBC Films to create a film profiling Margaret Thatcher, focusing on the 1982 Falklands War.
