Four afternoon tea and picnic experiences

Hello Kitty has taken over Soho bakery Cutter & Squidge this summer with a garden-themed café. From 1 June till 31 August, the Hello Kitty Secret Garden will serve guests a special afternoon tea and a range of branded snacks.  There will also be a range of limited edition Hello Kitty merchandise on sale, including recipe books and bags.

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a branded afternoon tea experience in London. The beauty brand has teamed up with Balthazar in Covent Garden to create the bookable teatime series, which will be available to sample until 29 September.

The traditional cakes have been replaced by confections modelled on the most popular products from the Bobbi Brown range. Guests can also sample the specially-made drink dubbed ‘Bobbi’s Party Cocktail’, as well as a selection of sandwiches and scones.

Conde Nast brand British Vogue is celebrating its 100th birthday with a pop-up cafe serving specially-created food and drink to mark its centenary. Located in Westfield London, the cafe is taking over the existing L'Orchidee space and will open for three months, from 27 June until 25 September. It will serve a specially created Vogue 100 champagne cocktail and a Vogue 100 punch, as well as a traditional English afternoon tea.

Mercure Hotels is holding picnic events at Somerset House, in line with the hotel brand's partnership with National Picnic Week. Up until 31 August the hotel brand is offering fun-filled days out for families and friends of all ages. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnics along with them to enjoy in the surroundings at Somerset House. Alternatively, there is a range of Mercure Picnic Hampers by Tom’s Kitchen available to purchase.
