Ford is launching the third instalment of its 'One of the safest places to be' TV campaign for the Mondeo. In the ad, entitled 'Visitor', by Ogilvy %26 Mather, a little boy seeks refuge in the family Mondeo, safe from his cheek-pinching, over-affectionate aunt, who smothers his siblings instead. The ad, promoting Mondeo's safety features, is the latest in a series that has featured the traumas of a cat caught in a rainstorm and a little girl frightened by a thunderstorm, both seeking shelter in a Mondeo. The Mondeo, updated last year, is the company's chief model in the crowded company car market, where it competes against the recently relaunched Vauxhall Vectra. The ad breaks on June 30 on ITV, where it will air during coverage of the World Cup Final. Media is by MindShare.
