Flextech gives Banc additional work for its LivingTV channel

Banc has strengthened its position on the Flextech Television roster by picking up the creative account for its LivingTV women's satellite, cable and digital channel.

The agency already handles the company's Trouble and Bravo channels, and was appointed to the LivingTV account following its work on the repositioning of the channel, Robert Bean, Banc's chairman, said. The account was previously handled by TBWA/London, which stopped working on the business at the end of 2001.

Banc is working on a new campaign, breaking in early July, to promote LivingTV's Paranormal Zone, as well as the new branding. LivingTV will run three hours of paranormal programming, which includes 6ixth Sense, a talkshow where the medium Colin Fry interacts with a studio audience, and Most Haunted, a nationwide search for ghostly activity. Flextech refused to confirm the spend.

The director of marketing, Mary Beer, said: "Banc has proved itself to work well with Flextech Television, collaborating with our marketing and creative services teams to further grow and develop our brands."
