Fiver lands US celebrity fly-on-the-wall documentaries

LONDON - Five's newly rebranded digital channel Fiver has secured the rights to two fly-on-the-wall series, featuring Hollywood wild child Lindsay Lohan's family and actress Denise Richards.

'Living Lohan', which will be shown as nine 30-minute episodes, stars celebrity mum and manager Dina Lohan and her youngest daughter, 14-year-old Ali Lohan.

The series goes inside the Lohans' Long Island home to follow Dina as she doubles up as a as mum and manager to Ali, who is hoping to follow in her big sister's famous footsteps.

In 'Denise Richards: It's Complicated', which will also be shown as nine 30-minute episodes, Fiver will follow Richards as she "navigates Hollywood, romance and motherhood" following a tumultuous year in the tabloid headlines.

Richards was in the headlines following her divorce from actor Charlie Sheen and the recent death of her mother.

'Living Lohan' will begin on June 21, while 'Denise Richards: It's Complicated' will be shown later this year.

The deals for both shows were negotiated between Katie Keenan, deputy controller of acquisitions for Fiver and Duccio Donati, senior vice-president, Comcast International Media Group, for E! Entertainment Network.
