The departures came as part of a management shakeout at the group, which also owns LBC and Galaxy, aimed at streamlining decision-making.
Also removed from their posts were Heart's programme director Francis Currie, marketing director Tina Finch, LBC managing director David Lloyd and Galaxy managing director Martyn Healy.
Don Thomson, formerly commercial director, has been appointed chief operating officer and Mark Evans, formerly finance director, is now chief financial officer.
They will report to Richard Park, executive director. Park moved to the network in July from Emap's Magic, where he was consultant programme director.
The changes will give stations more autonomy, a spokesman said. "This will enable more bottom-up decision-making," he added.
Separately, Galaxy has launched a nationwide branding campaign. Developed by The Farm London, it involves press, online and viral marketing. It will run for a month and features ads in the Daily Star's Reveal magazine and banner ads and editorial on Company magazine's Getlippy.com website, which also has a "listen live" facility.
