It has asked incumbent Walker Media to re-pitch against agencies believed to include Carat, Starcom Motive, PHD, Vizeum and MindShare.
Walker Media has held the account for the past five years and took it over from Carat, Five's launch agency.
Five director of marketing David Pullan is said to be looking at a number of developments to augment Five's growth, which would widen the media brief. Pullan was handed the additional responsibility of strategic development at Sky last week (Marketing, August 14).
Five chief executive Jane Lighting has identified strategic planning for growth as key to Five's future.
Pullan will focus on developing secondary revenue streams outside Five's core advertising. He joined Five in January 2002 from MTV where he was vice-president, marketing and digital channels.
Five held its audience share of 6.4% in the second quarter of 2003, according to figures from the ITC.
