Wellcome Collection
A destination for the incurably curious, London’s Wellcome Collection houses a mismatch of interesting artifacts and exhibitions that explore the connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future. The museum is currently exploring Tibetan Buddhism and will be hosting exhibits on consciousness and the human voice later in the year.
One of the more unique venue options includes hiring the Medicine Now gallery, which can accommodate up to 200 people for a reception. Guests can peruse a four-foot jelly baby, a printout of the entire human genome and a gastrointestinal camera the size of a baked bean all while mingling over cocktails.
