Fish4 merges client and agency sales teams

Fish4.co.uk has combined its client-direct and national-agency

sales teams and has promoted head of client sales Jane Loring to lead

the newly-created national team.



In the past, the client sales team focused mainly on website e-commerce

deals, with the national agency team selling straightforward buttons and

banners to media agencies.



The new team will talk to clients and their media agencies

simultaneously about providing more comprehensive package deals

involving ads and sponsorships on the web, as well as on Fish4's

interactive TV listings service, which is carried on NTL, Telewest and

ITV Digital.



The new national team consists of nine sales staff, who will continue to

focus on their own specialist areas - such as digital television - but

will work together to offer a higher number of cross-media and

sponsorship deals.



According to Loring, the new structure will offer advertisers wider

choice and better value for money.



"We will pool our resources and knowledge to ensure agencies and clients

get exactly the right deals," she added. "The focus will also be on

getting more sponsorship deals on search engines, which attract most of

our traffic."
