Fish moves into men's bodycare

Haircare brand Fish is to make its debut in the bodycare market with a range of deodorants.

Fish, originally launched as a Soho men's hair salon, is to introduce the products under the Fresh Fish brand next month.

KMI, owners of the King of Shaves male-grooming brand, will produce the Deo Body Spray range, which will compete against premium men's bodycare brands such as FCUK and Lambretta.

The sprays, which will be available in Ocean, Tropical and Reef variants and priced £2.99, will sit alongside Fish' existing range of shampoos, waxes and gels, sold in about 500 Boots stores.

In September 2001, KMI secured an exclusive agreement to market Fish products in the UK.
