The aptly named Sustainable Events has already secured several substantial clients including Reed Exhibitions and Manchester United Football Club.
"Throughout the course of the last year both Positive Impact and Organise This have received feedback and requests for in-depth sustainability support and advice," said Pelham.
"Businesses across the events industry are seeking professional, expert knowledge as they attempt to improve their sustainability policies and practices - with our history and enthusiasm to support the event industry to increase it's level of sustainability we decided to respond to these demands with the creation of Sustainable Events," she added.
Reed operations director Piers Kelly commented: "We have worked with the team behind Sustainable Events for over two years and they have delivered tailored support to meet our requirements."
Both Positive Impact and Organise This will now operate underneath the Sustainable Events umbrella.
Pelham is also President Elect, MPI UK and Ireland Chapter and co-chair of the standard.
