In the ad, which cost £500,000 to film at London's Alexandra Palace, a full-size Grande Punto is shown bouncing on a trampoline. The clip also includes a team of trampolinists springing up toward the camera with message boards describing the model.
The TV ad was directed by music video specialist Michael Gracey, who has worked with acts including Charlotte Church, Will Young, Natasha Bedingfield and Sugababes.
The campaign, created by Krow Communications, runs until September and will include a small number of print ads in motoring magazines.
The previous Grande Punto campaign had an Italian Job theme, with three cars painted red, green and white.
