Ferrero unveils campaign for Kinder Bueno

Kinder Bueno, the chocolate bar from Ferrero, unveils a £2.3m campaign on April 8, representing the first work by WCRS for the brand. The ad is set in a newsagent and shows a man trying to decide which bar to buy. A voice emanates from the Kinder Bueno, saying "You want some, fly boy?", and then attempts to woo him with "I've got chocolate - you can lick my ripples

and "Bite me, bite me, bite me". Those slogans will also appear on point-of-sale material. Kinder Bueno launched a year ago with a £4.5m support package and immediately became the best selling countline in the subsequent weeks. It is now sixth, with 3.2% of the total countline market, third in supermarkets and ninth in the impulse sector. Media for the campaign is by Initiative Media.
