Feather Brooksbank (FB) has been reappointed as the media planning
and buying agency for the Health Education Board for Scotland
(HEBS).
FB retained the £3m account after a three-year statutory review,
which included both media and creative. FB pitched alongside creative
agency The Bridge.
Andy Jones, managing director of FB in Glasgow, and head of TV Jan
Cerretti will maintain responsibility for the business.
Martin Raymond, head of public affairs at HEBS, said: "The key is that
the media and creative work together. Media is as important to us as the
creative executions. We reappointed FB as it understood our need to
constantly come up with fresh media solutions."
FB worked on the recent 'Stinx' campaign that aimed to discourage
youngsters from smoking. It ran a 60-second TV ad in the form of a girl
band pop video and reached number 49 in the UK music chart.
FB will continue to look at media to reach its key target audiences of
12- to 17- and 40- to 55-year-olds.
As well as the 'Stink' ads, HEBS launched a campaign this summer to make
people in Scotland aware of the risks of skin cancer. FB bought
ten-second TV ads, which were broadcast only after the evening weather
slot predicted sunshine.
