Ayers will manage FCB Inferno’s 10-strong TV department, looking after TV production for the agency’s roster of clients, including BMW and Beiersdorf.
He will report to Owen Lee and Al Young, FCB Inferno’s joint chief creative officers.
Ayers began his career as a production assistant at HHCL & Partners in 1995, where he worked alongside Lee and Young. Having been promoted to deputy head of production at HHCL, Ayers became a partner in the business, before moving to Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R as a senior producer in 2006.
He joined TBWA\London in 2008 as deputy head of broadcast, and rose to lead the department by 2012, before leaving to join VCCP as a senior executive producer on the Asda business in 2014.
Young said: "During his 20 years career we calculated that Jason is credited for producing over 500 ads.
"We are confident that with this wealth of experience he will push his team and our clients’ work to the highest standards."
