FCB cuts 12% of San Francisco office

FCB Worldwide in San Francisco will cut 12% of its workforce in San Francisco.

The True North Communications-owned agency currently employs around 350 staff and has blamed the layoffs on a softness in the San Francisco market and the loss of two key clients.

Its Compaq account has moved to FCB's New York office and AT&T Wireless is holding a review in which FCB New York is taking part.
