Fashion TV is currently available in more than seven million households in the UK and Ireland and is dedicated to reporting on the fashion and modelling world.
A new version of Fashion TV began broadcasting on Sky on Monday 18 April and focuses on coverage of leading fashion shows from around the world, as well as profiling up and coming new modelling talent.
Richard Hawking, Sky Media鈥檚 deputy sales director, said: 鈥淭he addition of Fashion TV to the Sky portfolio further enhances our audience delivery among young, upmarket viewers.鈥
He added: 鈥淲e believe that fashion, luxury and cosmetic brands, in particular, will welcome the opportunity to communicate with Fashion TV鈥檚 highly targeted audience.鈥
The deal signifies another addition to Sky Media鈥檚 growing portfolio that has developed over the last year, with the addition of Chart Show TV, The Vault and B4 in January 2005.
This followed the announcement in November 2004 that the partnership with Emap advertising will continue for the next five years.
