Farnborough International, organiser of the biennial airshow, launched a purpose-built event venue that sits on Farnborough鈥檚 main show site last month.
More than 100 guests attended the launch event, which showcased the new facility to the industry, at The Hospital in Covent Garden on 27 June.
Farnborough International Venue & Events (FIVE) is due to open in the autumn and will offer 4,400sqm of flexible indoor space for exhibitions, conferences, live events and meetings. It will provide 3,600sqm of unimpeded clear span space.Use of the surrounding outdoor space will also be an option for event managers. Rushmoor Council granted planning permission for the structure in February.
