What are your ambitions/goals for the business?
We are growing fast and we aim to continue this growth in the private sector for the foreseeable future, as this is where our passions lie. We also deliver exquisite handmade picnics through our sister company, Picnic2U.
We have also recently launch a new children's food delivery business calles Elves and Ovens, and we have also expanded into nutritional food production for a health food chain. We hope that by 2015 we will be one of London's leading event caterers.
What is your best piece of work or stand-out moment?
In 2012 we were awarded the contract for catering the LAPADA art and antiques fair. What seemed initially to be a pop-up restaurant for six days very quickly stretched all of our skills and logistical set up to the max.
With an opening night for 3,500 people, 15 canapés parties, and a private dinner for 120 all running at the same time, we managed to deliver over 1,200 covers without a single complaint. It was a staggering week for us, and resulted in us winning the contract for the next three years, as well as a huge amount of exposure for such a small company.
What makes you a Fab 50 Newcomer?
Both directors, Tom Lloyd-Owen and Buzzy Randall, have a huge passion for throwing amazing parties. Buzzy keeps a steady hand on the kitchen operations, and Tom looks after the event management side of things. But together they produce awesome parties with the sort of infectious enthusiasm our reputation has grown so quickly from.
We believe the product we deliver is at the same standard as the big catering companies in London, but at the same time we can bring a more intimate and personal touch to proceedings as well as better value for money.
