The event, via Dynamo, kicks off this month and features a four-metre high inflatable unit where consumers can test their serve. It visits 40 locations nationwide, including supermarkets and shopping centres, for a seven-week run with coaches on hand to give advice.
A prize draw runs alongside the roadshow, offering one participant at each event the chance to win a tennis racket. One overall winner will receive £200-worth of tennis coaching.
Previous Play Tennis campaigns have seen a third of those participating join an LTA club.
