
The online travel portal is approaching agencies directly to handle a mobile advertising campaign for the business, as it looks to roll out new products and services across Europe by the end of the year.
Expedia has previously worked with a number of digital agencies including Profero and Essence, which it appointed earlier this year to handle its pan-European digital creative account.
The business-to-business mobile pitch coincides with the ongoing £40 million pan-European advertising review that was called last month. That process, through the AAR, is being led by Andrew Warner, the Expedia senior marketing director EMEA.
Most of Expedia's brand advertising is handled by Meteorite, while media planning and buying is overseen by PHD.
