LONDON - Broadband ISP Excite@Home has announced the resignation of two top executives and has named Matt Jones as its new chief operating officer.
Byron Smith, executive vice-president of the Excite network, and Mark O'Leary, executive vice-president of broadband services, will leave the company in July to pursue other projects.
Matt Jones, the company's new chief operating officer, was recently president and chief executive at Lipstream Networks, which developed voice technology for the internet until it closed earlier this year. Before Lipstream, he worked at Sprint with Excite's chief executive Patti Hart.
