Ex-Tequila chief Asscher unveils service agency

Jane Asscher, the former Tequila Payne Stracey chief operating officer, who quit this summer, has revealed her new agency venture will be called 23red.

Asscher, who is launching the agency with former Tequila colleagues Sean Kinmont and Adam Wylie. Asscher will take on the role of chairman, Wylie the position of managing director and Kinmont will become creative director.

The agency, which launches with a ten-strong team, will aim to provide a media-neutral offering across disciplines, ranging from advertising and direct marketing to sponsorship and internet services.

'23red will work with clients by acknowledging there is a new way to build brands through a targeted approach, and a more effective way for an agency to provide services through partnerships and strategic alliances,' said Asscher. 'We will be able to hand-pick a network of services to match individual clients' needs.'

The first of 23red's strategic partners will be unveiled shortly, she added.
