Ex-mayor fronts LBC 97.3 show

LONDON - Ken Livingstone, the former mayor of London, has been given his own weekly radio show on LBC 97.3, following a successful week-long stint during June.

He will present a Saturday programme between 10am and 2pm, starting on 30 August.

In June, Livingstone was a guest presenter on the weekday afternoon show on LBC 97.3, standing in for Jeni Barnett while she was on holiday. On Saturday mornings, he will be replacing James Max, who will now present the early breakfast show on Fridays, in addition to his regular Business Matters programme on Sunday evenings.

Global Radio-owned LBC 97.3 broadcasts in Greater London on 97.3FM and is available across the K on DAB, Sky channel 0177, Virgin Media 973 and online at lbc.co.uk.
