Ex-Channel 4 head of interactive set to launch consultancy

Peter Good, the former head of interactive at Channel 4, is launching an interactive media consultancy company, called Good.

The venture aims to advise media brands, broadcasters and production companies on what can be achieved using interactive media.

Good said: "Unlike many companies in this field, we have grass-roots and hands-on experience of realising cross-platform projects for brands as diverse as Big Brother, Abbey and MTV."

While at Channel 4, Good was responsible for the development of 4Active, the interactive application behind Channel 4 and E4 transmissions on the Sky and digital cable platforms. He also developed the interactive TV application for Big Brother.

Good has paired up with Emma Wilson to launch the company. Wilson was previously a senior producer and project manager for the agencies Victoria Real, Two Way TV and Wheel group.

She said: "Good intends to offer a range of services from full cross-platform strategy to specific project management and production. We also plan to help production companies develop new interactive programme formats."
