The lunches are set to take place on the third Friday of every month, and each will address a particular issue of pertinence to the events industry.
The inaugural lunch, which is to be held at Boyds Brasserie Bar & Lounge in London, will centre upon a disucssion of ‘Women in Events.’
Helen Moon, founder, EWL Club told Event: "There are lots [of women] in the industry, and topics such as equal pay and equality are important.
"We have a couple of gentlemen joining us on Friday as well, as it is important to hear what men have to say about gender equality.
"We talk about topics that are ‘hot’ in the industry. Event professionals chat about and discuss key issues, take ideas away to their teams, share them on Twitter and so on."
May’s instalment will delve into the issue of technology, meanwhile in June there will be a focus on promotional campaign, Britain for Events.
In an effort to encourage open discussion and promote networking among event industry professionals, each lunch will include only 12 attendees.
All events will be London-based this year, however Moon told Event they could expand to cities including Birmingham and Manchester in the future.
Event professionals can register for the lunches via the EWL Club website.
