Evian debuts in TV sponsorship with Sky One fashion show

LONDON - Evian is sponsoring Sky One's new series 'Project Catwalk', in which 12 aspiring fashion designers battle to break into the industry under the gaze of presenter Elizabeth Hurley.

Carat secured the Danone brand's first TV sponsorship and has further linked it with fashion as the official water of London Fashion Week.

'Project Catwalk' starts its three-month run tomorrow at 8pm with repeats on Sky Three on Sunday at 8pm and Sky Two on Tuesdays at 9pm.

It is produced by Shine and based on the hit US show 'Project Runway', which was produced by Miramax Television and broadcast on US channel Bravo. It got the channel its highest ratings for a new show.

Among the judges and mentors on 'Project Catwalk' are fashion designers Julien Macdonald and Sadie Frost, as well as model Erin O'Connor.

Christelle Ferriere, Evian brand manager at Danone Waters, said the association with the two innovative and iconic fashion properties would reinforce Evian's historic link with the world of fashion.
