
Key findings from the paper reveal that 81% of employees find face-to-face contact with their line manager the most trusted form of communication, while 89% of Harvard Business Review subscribers agreed that face-to-face meetings are essential for ‘sealing the deal' in business, and that three quarters of employers believe engaging employees with the business is the most likely route they will take to prevent industrial action.
Talking of the importance of employee engagement and the need for face-to-face meetings, the paper highlights the need for continued communication at a personal level and looks optimistically at the future of the events industry.
