Free: Celebrating Free Events For All will look at how complimentary events can unify communities, and provide people from all walks of life with access to cultural experiences.

The exhibition will include over 300 multimedia pieces – including photographs, audio, video and posters – that celebrate events which require no payment on behalf of the attendee.

Visitors can expect coverage of celebrations such as Carnival, Castlemorton and Pride, as well as The Rolling Stones’ early gigs, and UK festivals and raves spanning the 1970s through to 1990s.

Eventbrite is hosting a free panel session – coined Celebrating Free Public Music Events – on the exhibition's opening night, which will focus on the role of free public events in the UK.

The company is also offering event profs the chance to host their own free event at the Barge House in London on 9 April, by completing an online form via the Evenbrite UK Facebook page.
